Sisters Gauri & Nainika have been making waves stateside with their sculptural gowns for a number of years but it’s still exciting to see their designs show up on the red carpet. Most recently, singer Carrie Underwood gave the designers a major seal of approval when she wore not one but two looks from the duo’s collection at the 2015 Country Music Awards. First up, she?chose a beautiful coral peplum gown with a plunging neckline and cascading train to walk the red carpet.
Once inside, Underwood changed into an elegant floral printed Gauri & Nainika gown, one of several outfit changes the singer made throughout?the night.
Also wearing Gauri & Nainika that evening was actress Erika Christensen who chose a one shouldered draped gown in a gorgeous cobalt blue.
The fourth Gauri & Nainika look of the night was worn by Kimberly Schlapman from country music group Little Big Town.?The dress featured exaggerated sleeves with a cascading ruffle detail down the back of the dress.
Given the enormous choice celebrities have in selecting pieces from a vast array of designers, it’s must be incredible thrilling for Gauri and Nainika to see their designs?being worn by multiple celebrities at the same event. Looking forward to seeing more Indian designers make an appearance on red carpets around the world!
